Cues and Codes EP

The Cues and Codes EP is the latest release from AM Still AM, representing a seamless evolution of his musical and technical journey. The title itself is a fusion of two worlds: "Cues," referencing the art of cueing records and crafting sets as a DJ, and "Codes," a nod to the programming and technical expertise that drives his work as a creative technologist.

This project was inspired by the immersive "Cues and Codes" showcase period in Hangzhou (2019–2020), which blended vibrant sounds with dynamic visuals. The EP, with its unique blend of chill and deep house, captures the energy and creative spirit of that time while pushing into new sonic territories.

In essence, Cues and Codes embodies the ethos of AM Still AM. It’s an audible manifestation of the idea that technology and music coexist and enrich each other—a philosophy carried forward from his experience as Andy Milt and now integrated with his identity as Anesu Mwamuka. It shows that despite his creative evolution, his passion for both beats and bytes remains strong: he is still, fundamentally, AM.
